As most of you are aware, Dave was transported on Monday from his home to the Bruns House in Alamo. (Please see the link below). While there, Dave and his entire family were treated with the ultimate in compassion, care and professionalism. Although the time he spent there was short, the care he received will not be forgotten.
While there, Sabina and I noticed a printed wish list of items that the Bruns House could use. Among a list of general items was “an AED” or Automatic External Defibrillator. We both looked at each other and thought that an AED would be the perfect way that our MOFD could honor Dave and help this worthy cause. We have contacted Brian Hartley of Boundtree Medical and he has offered to provide an AED at his cost, about $1300.00.
I will be collecting donations until Monday, September 14th. Please deliver cash or checks (payable to Ken Consiglio) to my mailbox at station 45 or mail to my home address:
2421 Lunada Lane, Alamo, Ca. 94507
